READING FOR INFORMATION
Table of Contents
We will be reading informational nonfiction on a particular topic and learning how to choose evidence to support an opinion. Although there are several possible units in this section, we will probably only complete one of them this year. Click the unit title below to move to that page.
Unit 1 - The Teenage Brain
The Teenage Brain - This unit will teach you how your brain works and allow you to rethink some of the responsibilities placed on teenagers, such as driving age, school day start time, and more.
Unit 2 - Teens and Technology
Teenagers and Technology - This unit will allow you to read a multitude of articles on social media and technology in teenagers' lives. Then you will formulate an opinion on whether these are positive or negative in a teens' life.
