READING for INFORMATION
We will be practicing reading informational texts on the topic of teens and technology. Reading for information requires a different set of skills from reading for enjoyment and from reading to analyze literature. First, we will practice our informational reading skills. Then we will use those skills to compile the information we read into an argumentative position paper on the topic of teens and technology.
